Social Report, the results from the North of Macedonia

CES Academy, the partner from Skopje, North Macedonia, implemented the Social Report (PR1) with diverse target groups in order to catch on the state of play on migrant women in the country, a topic very much not present in the public discourse. In this regard, they have implemented the established PR1 methodology with its numerous tools and approaches that enabled portraying this reality.

CES Academy conducted desk research, delivered questionnaires, organized coaching circles, and conducted individual interviews to access this data.

Migrant women from various countries, such as Afghanistan, Syria, Congo, Iraq, and Ukraine, provided their perspectives on the issues addressed in the Final Report. Their input helped to fill in the gaps in the maze on women migrant’s whereabouts in the country, map their needs and contemplate on possible ways of addressing them with options available with the WINBIZ project.

We were particularly impressed by the personal stories, and their strength to tackle obstacles of everyday life.
